Calvary Chapel Cyberspace

There have been many people who would like to attend a good church that teaches the Word of God faithfully. I have always recommended Calvary Chapel because they have proved to be consistent for almost 40 years. Unfortunately, many I have talked to live too far from any of the branches listed at their Web site. So I have created this little "how-to" to bring some church into your own home. Sort of a Calvary Chapel Cyberspace.

Getting The Tools
Start by downloading a free copy of iTunes from Apple.
Install iTunes as directed including any updates to Quicktime it may ask for.

Audio Podcasts
  • Launch iTunes and click on the upper-left, green iTunes Store link.
  • In the upper-right search box, put Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa then hit RETURN.
  • You will now have a listing of all of their audio Podcasts.
  • Click on the Subscribe button for the desired Podcasts.
  • Click on the Get button and your audio study will download.
Note that you do not need to repeat the subscription process. Once you subscribe, iTunes will automatically check for any new Podcasts that are available. They should be updated once every week. You can also listen to some past Podcasts as well. If audio does not do the trick for you then consider video presentations!

Video Podcasts
  • Launch iTunes and click on the upper-left, green iTunes Store link
  • In the upper-right search box, put CCCM Video then hit RETURN
  • You will now have a listing of all of their video Podcasts.
  • Click on the Subscribe button for the desired Podcasts.
  • Click on the Get button and your video study will download.
If you have a broadband connection that allows you to view video over the Internet, this can now be a cyber-church for both you and fellow brothers and sisters you invite over for fellowship. For some other great teaching, try the following in the iTunes Store search box.
